Whilst Sir John Barleycorn is a Fuller’s owned pub, the pub has been part of the New Forest since the 12th century making it just as “local” as any other forest pub. It’s conveniently just off the A31 & a short drive from Lyndhurst, but inconveniently tucked away behind the road making it slightly tricky to access.
The pub is located in Cadnam, but when searching for them on Google their website says the pub is in “Cadham” on search results, which is fun.
Despite growing up close to this pub our team of expert reviewers have never visited the establishment, not really hearing any complaints nor compliments about its quality leading them to believe it to be an unpopular local choice. That being said, the pub has collected an astonishing 583 reviews on Google, completely proving them wrong about its popularity. With this in mind, will this be a shock sleeper hit?
